Wilder Ranch State Park
The park has 4,505 acres, with 34 miles of hiking, biking and equestrian trails winding through coastal terraces and valleys. Several restored buildings once belonging to the Wilder family are preserved. The park has tours and living history demonstrations to help visitors explore the history of early ranchers and farmers along the Central Coast. Surrounding grounds include Victorian homes, gardens, and historic adobe. Location & Directions: The park is north of Santa Cruz, immediately west of Highway One, just a mile or so past the Western Drive stoplight.

The BigFoot Discovery Project Museum
5497 Highway 9, Felton. (831) 335-4478. 1 p.m.-6 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. -7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and closed Tuesdays. Free; donations welcome.

Santa Cruz Surfing Museum
The Surfing Museum is in the Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse at Lighthouse Point on West Cliff Drive. Santa Cruz Harley Davidson Museum
Northern California's only Harley Davidson dealership featuring a unique museum of antique motorcycles and factory memorabilia. No charge for admission. San Lorenzo Valley Museum
Museum Open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Noon to 4:00 PM. Located at 12547 Highway 9, Boulder Creek, CA, 95006.

Capitola Historical Museum
The Museum maintains an extensive collection of photographs and artifacts related to Capitola's history, and offers changing exhibits on the history and art of the area, as well as on special seasonal and topical themes. Santa Cruz City Museum of Natural History
Located at 1305 E. Cliff Dr., the museum contains displays of American Indian artifacts, rocks, fossils, a touch tide pool exhibit and specimens of local fauna. Tues.-Sun. 10-5; closed holidays. Donations. Phone (831) 420-6115.
